Appointment Cancellation and No-Show Policy
At our practice, we are committed to providing timely, high-quality care to all of our patients. Missed appointments and late cancellations disrupt the schedule, limit appointment availability for other patients who need medical care, and increase the operational costs of the practice.
To help us serve all patients efficiently, we ask that you review and comply with the following policy beginning September 1st, 2026:
Appointment Cancellations
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance. Providing advance notice allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient who is waiting for care.
No-Show and Late Cancellation Fee
Patients who fail to appear for a scheduled appointment without providing at least 24 hours' notice will be considered a no-show and will be charged a $50.00 no-show fee.
This fee is the patient's responsibility and is not billable to insurance.
Exceptions
The no-show fee may be waived in cases of unexpected illness, medical emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of the practice. Requests for waiver will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Repeated No-Shows
Repeated missed appointments prevent us from providing timely access to care for all patients. Patients who demonstrate a pattern of no-shows or late cancellations may have future scheduling privileges limited or revoked. The practice reserves the right to refuse scheduling future appointments for patients with repeated no-shows or, when appropriate, to dismiss a patient from the practice in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Your courtesy in keeping scheduled appointments or providing adequate notice when changes are necessary helps us provide the highest level of care to all of our patients.
